Joe Maruschak

Joe Maruschak, a seasoned professional with a diverse background, has been a prominent figure in the startup ecosystem, particularly in the technology and video game industries.

From co-founding BraveTree in 2001 and developing multiplayer games for web and XBox Live Arcade, to joining GarageGames as part of the executive team, Joe has a wealth of experience in game development and management.

After aiding in the growth of GarageGames until its acquisition by IAC in 2007, Joe transitioned to community development work and eventually became the Managing Director of the RAIN Eugene Accelerator, where he spearheaded initiatives to foster high-growth companies in Oregon.

His dedication to supporting startups led him to establish the seed fund, Coast to Crest, which invests in high-growth startups in the Southern Willamette Valley.

Joe's educational background includes studying at Allentown High School and earning a Bachelor of Science in Design from the University of Oregon.

Having held various roles such as Consultant, Investor, Managing Director, and General Manager, Joe's expertise spans from startup coaching to fund management and community building.
