Responsible for creating test environments.  This included building test pc’s and servers. Installing needed operating systems such as Windows XP, Windows Vista,  Windows server 2000 and 2003 along with many flavor’s of Linux.  Also responsible for creating custom Ghost images and slipstream installs.  Also responsible for setting up internal Ghost servers and Remote Installation services servers (RIS). Responsible for running a variety of tests on different types of motherboards, processors and RAM. Constantly changed hardware on test beds and rebuilt testing systems.  Tested and documented flaws in internal hardware and software.  Tested network stress with both wired and wireless devices.  Preformed both automated and manual tests. Started Beta testing process on windows long horn for Intel network drivers and ICH drivers.  Created and escalated bug reports to engineering team.  Used tools such as disk thrash and 3dmark to stress hardware. Did Drivers testing for Pre Beta, RC1 and RC2 versions of Windows Vista.
