Joe Edwards

Joe Edwards is an accomplished public affairs professional with a diverse background in parliamentary and party political roles, as well as in-house experience.

With a focus on the UK's research and innovation landscape, Joe has expertise in engaging with key stakeholders such as parliamentarians and government officials on various critical issues including AI, data-driven technologies, climate change, low carbon energy, Brexit, immigration policy, domestic education policy, and regional growth.

Joe holds a BA degree in Politics from The University of Hull, where he graduated with a 2:1.

Throughout his career, Joe has held key positions in notable organizations, including his current role as Public Affairs Manager at the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI). Previously, he served as a Senior Public Affairs Adviser at The Royal Society and held various roles at the Liberal Democrats, from Deputy Head of Whips Office to working closely with Nick Clegg in different capacities.
