Joe Aguilar is a high-performing investment executive with strong leadership skills in institutional asset management, impact investing, and expertise across major asset classes.

His background includes leadership roles in investment stewardship, product development, ESG/Sustainability integration, and investment operations.

With experience in private equity, venture capital, credit, and public strategies, Joe is known for his analytical, versatile, and resourceful problem-solving abilities, creating innovative investment solutions, portfolio strategies, asset allocation, and risk management processes.

As the former Chief Investment Officer at the Illinois State Treasury, Joe oversaw an approximately $18 billion portfolio invested across various pools, working with talented colleagues and partners.

He holds a Master's Degree in Finance from the University of Miami Herbert Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Business & Commerce from Aurora University.
