Having transitioned from IT roles where he focused on leveraging cutting-edge technologies to automate and streamline processes, Jody has spent the last decade concentrating on integrating platforms and devices to enhance their functionality and introduce smarter operations.
Jody Albritton holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Navarro College, where he excelled with a GPA of 3.7. Additionally, he pursued studies in Cisco Networking, specializing in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications at Trinity Valley Community College.
Throughout his career, Jody has held various significant roles, including Senior Partner Implementation Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Developer Programs, and Developer Advocate at SmartThings. Prior to his tenure at SmartThings, he established Optimus Labs, INC. and served as Managing Director of Technology Operations at La Porte ISD, Technology Coordinator at Greenville Independent School District, and Network Manager at Athens Independent School Dst.
