Jodie Zisow

Jodie Zisow is a dedicated individual focused on community building and social justice initiatives. With a background in education and training, Jodie holds expertise in translation and interpretation (Spanish to English and vice versa).

Jodie's educational journey includes studying BA in International and Intercultural Studies with a specialization in Latin American Studies at Goucher College.

Throughout Jodie's career, she has been involved in various organizations, such as Baltimore City Public Schools as a Spanish Teacher, Moveable Feast as a Ride for the Feast rider/fundraiser, CASH Campaign of Maryland as a Program Manager for the PROMISE Initiative, Friends of Ryan Dorsey as a Campaign Manager, Strong City Baltimore as an Adult Education Instructor for ESOL and GED preparation, Repair the World as the Director of Repair the World: Baltimore, Red Clover Collective as a Collective Member, Planned Parenthood of Maryland as a Project Coordinator and Health Educator/Trainer, Creative Alliance as an Instructor, Charm City Roller Girls, LLC as a Skater, Open Society Institute as a Community Fellow, and Charm City Kitty Club as a Collective Member.

Jodie Zisow's interests span across social justice, bicycling, public transportation, gardening, sustainable living, collective living, and intentional communities, reflecting a passion for holistic and interconnected community development.

With a knack for creative community building and a diverse skill set as an educator, trainer, facilitator, and interpreter, Jodie Zisow is a versatile individual making meaningful contributions to the causes and communities she is involved with.
