Jock Noble
Jock Noble is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in social enterprise development, spanning across various countries such as Australia, UK, India, Kenya, Indonesia, and the USA.
Currently, Jock Noble is the Technical Director of Livelihoods at World Vision International, leading a global team of specialist livelihoods advisers based in Manila.
Prior to his current role, Jock Noble held positions such as Economic Development Learning Hub Lead for World Vision in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, and founder of the SEED Team in World Vision Australia.
Before joining World Vision, Jock Noble was the founder and CEO of Diversity@Work Australia, a social enterprise focused on developing inclusive strategies and training for companies.
Jock Noble is highly educated, holding post-graduate studies in Not for Profit Management from Washington DC with Georgetown University, as well as studies in Negotiation and Conflict Management at La Trobe University, Melbourne.
He also possesses Masters degrees in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Swinburne University’s Centre for Innovation and Enterprise, and another in Strategic Foresight from Swinburne's Australian Graduate School of Management.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Jock Noble is an accomplished author, having published two books: "Stories from the Road" and "What Am I Doing Here" in 2015.
Jock Noble has also shared his knowledge as an Adjunct Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the American University in Armenia, showcasing his passion for education and mentorship.
Recognized for his exceptional community service, Jock Noble was the recipient of the Carey Medal in 2007.
His areas of expertise include livelihoods development, social entrepreneurship, economic development, diversity and inclusion strategies, and entrepreneurship and innovation.
