Jochen M. Wilms

Jochen M. Wilms is a co-founder and Managing Director of Art 19 GmbH, a German company that supports human rights organizations by raising funds through the sale of artworks.16 He is an entrepreneur and art project producer from Berlin who came up with the idea for Art 19 in 2012 when he learned about Pablo Picasso donating artworks for Amnesty International.14

With over 30 years of experience in industry, consulting, and investing, Wilms is also the Founder and Managing Director of W Ventures.37 He serves as the Chairman of LUQOM GROUP since 2017.7 Wilms' educational background includes attending Harvard Business School.3

Art 19, co-founded by Wilms in 2018, focuses on initiatives like "Box One," which collaborates with renowned artists to create limited-edition prints to support Amnesty International's human rights work.15 Wilms believes that "Art 19 is and will make a difference to the work of Amnesty International".2
