Job Kuijpers

Job Kuijpers is the CEO and co-founder of Eye Security, a cybersecurity and cyber insurance company based in The Hague, Netherlands. He co-founded the company in 2020 alongside Vincent van de Ven and Piet Kerkhofs, all of whom have backgrounds in the Dutch Intelligence and Security Services, specifically the AIVD (General Intelligence and Security Service) where Kuijpers served as the Director of the National Communications Security Agency.135

Under Kuijpers' leadership, Eye Security has rapidly grown to employ over 120 professionals across multiple European countries, focusing on providing comprehensive cybersecurity solutions tailored for small to medium enterprises (SMEs). The company offers an all-in-one package that includes cyber monitoring, incident response, and cyber insurance, aiming to make enterprise-level security accessible to mid-market businesses.234

In March 2024, Eye Security secured €36 million in Series B funding, which will be used to enhance its services and expand its market presence across Europe. Kuijpers emphasized the company's mission to tackle escalating cyber risks and provide reliable insurance coverage to businesses that often struggle with cybersecurity challenges.23
