João Oliveira Simões

João Oliveira Simões is a talented product designer with over 6 years of experience, currently based between San Francisco and Portugal. He leads design at 44 Studio, a dedicated team working with startups globally to enhance their digital products. João's notable projects include work with ANA - Portuguese Airports, CGD Bank, and Vodafone Quiosque App while serving as a Digital Art Director at Innovagency in Portugal. He then transitioned to Handy in NYC as their Lead UI Designer, witnessing significant growth and successful acquisitions. Following his time at Handy, João joined Sparks Labs in San Francisco, launching multiple apps and culminating with the creation of the AnswerCam app before the company was acquired by Dropbox. João's educational background includes studies in Visual Design, Design of Equipment, and Digital Advertising at respected institutions in Lisbon.
