Joanna Tong

Joanna Tong is a professional with a diverse educational background, holding a BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology after completing her High School education at San Francisco University High School.

With a strong focus on diversity and inclusion, Joanna has held various roles at Genentech, including Site Services Diversity & Inclusion Business Partner, Pharma Tech Ops US Diversity & Inclusion Activator/Project Manager, and Pharma Technical Operations Women Professionals South San Francisco Regional Lead.

Joanna's previous roles at Genentech also include serving as a Senior Technical Manager for Supplier Collaborations, an Engineer II in Global MSAT, an Engineer I in South San Francisco MSAT, and an ORDP Analyst.

Before her time at Genentech, Joanna gained experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Whitehead Institute, showcasing her commitment to research and development.
