Front End Designer and Developer at Ticketmaster

After finishing University, I returned to my placement year’s employer, now Addison Group. I quickly settled in again and I have more responsibility in the projects I am part of, while continuing to follow accessibility guidelines and coding standards. I have also done a lot of R&D which proved useful for the company, such as creating charts generated from data tables on the fly and various Google Maps API projects, including integration with social networks.

Web Developer

As a member of the Technology team, I worked on various small and medium projects, producing code according to high standards, with no room for error. I worked closely with other teams, keeping a good communication to ensure everyone was satisfied with the final results.  I also had the chance to work on a completely new responsive website, keeping strict deadlines and dealing with client demands.

I developed a number of small online applications and banners and an interactive CD, acquiring further knowledge in ActionScript 3.0 rapidly, doing my own research and learning with more experienced team members.

I created three flash games for kids under a partnership with Museu do Chiado - MNAC and SapoKids. I was responsible for all the programming and graphics, considering the opinions of our partners and the rest of Odd School’s team.  In addiction to this, I quickly started to learn the basics of PHP and MySQL, in order to work on the intranet with the rest of the team.
