Joan Rohlfing

Joan Rohlfing is a highly educated individual with a diverse academic background. With an impressive career trajectory, Joan Rohlfing currently serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer at the Nuclear Threat Initiative, demonstrating her expertise in the field of nuclear security. Previously, she held significant roles in various organizations, including being a Member of the Threat Reduction Advisory Committee at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Chair of the Directorate Advisory Committee of the National Security Directorate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Senior Advisor to the Secretary and Director of the Office of Nonproliferation at the US Department of Energy, Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Energy at the US Department of Energy, Professional Staff Member at the Armed Services Committee at the US House of Representatives, and Assistant to the Director for Strategic Forces Policy at the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
