Joan Harrison, PhD
Joan Harrison is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the field of music, education, and community programs.
She holds a Masters Certificate in Development and Management of Social Impact Community Programs from The Global Leaders Program, a PhD from the University of Ottawa, and a M.M. in Cello Performance/Asian studies from Yale University.
In her career, Joan has been involved in various roles such as Lecturer, Course Designer, and Workshop Producer at Part-time Professor. Previously, she served as the Lead educator and administrator at After School Music at Turnbull, founded the Capital Strings and Voices Collective (CSVC) music and citizenship lab at the University of Ottawa, and performed as a cellist at Amberwood Duo and New York City Opera.
With her diverse background and experience, Joan Harrison has made significant contributions to education, music, community programs, and organizational leadership throughout her career.
