Joachim Behrendt

Joachim Behrendt is an accomplished individual with a diverse background in business, consulting, and academia.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Accounting and Taxation from Leuphana University of Lüneburg and a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from Universität Hamburg.

With a strong educational foundation, Joachim has also been a Visiting Research Fellow and Part-Time Instructor in Accounting and Finance at prestigious institutions like The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Birkbeck Faculty of Business and Law.

Joachim's professional journey includes roles such as Managing Partner at Joachim Behrendt Consulting GmbH, Founding Partner at BIC Angel Investments, and Owner at BIC Behrendt International Consulting, showcasing his expertise in entrepreneurship and consulting.

As a former Business Angel at Business Angels Club Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. (BACB) and a Member of Galata Business Angels, Joachim has actively contributed to the startup ecosystem and investment community.

His experience also extends to strategic advisory roles, having been the former Head of the Advisory Board at Vali Berlin and serving as a Member of the Board at Prisync.
