Jo Woolf

Jo Woolf is an experienced Factual Series Producer and Series Edit Producer. She has an extensive background in broadcast television, having worked on a range of popular TV shows, including The Great British Bakeoff, First Dates, 24 hours in A and E, and many others. Jo runs her own training company called Screenskills, where she provides training in Edit Producing, Storytelling, and Scriptwriting. She also offers one-to-one coaching and mentoring sessions for individuals. In the past year during lockdown, Jo has hosted a series of free online masterclasses covering different aspects of factual film-making to encourage peer-to-peer learning and create a sense of community within the freelance factual TV world.

Jo Woolf studied BA in English and French at the University of Oxford. She has worked at various well-known production companies and served as Senior Edit Producer, Edit Producer, Series Producer, and Digital Producer in her career.

Jo loves finding new ways of telling stories, working with contributors and other production staff. She enjoys helping people reach their full potential off-screen and providing a voice and a vehicle for change on-screen.
