Jo Vieira

Jo Vieira is a design leader, designer, and entrepreneur with over 13 years of experience in designing meaningful products and brands.

Throughout Portugal, Germany, and the United States, Jo has focused on starting and growing businesses, advising startups, and mentoring students and young entrepreneurs, with a strong emphasis on sustainability.

Jo holds a High School Diploma in Science and Technology from Escola Secundária Manuel Cargaleiro, a Bachelor of Arts in Product Design from Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa, and has also completed an online course in Sustainable Development from Columbia University in the City of New York.

Currently serving as the Managing Partner at Jo Vieira, Jo has previously held roles such as Product Manager at Impossible, Sustainability Consultant at Possibility™, Project Management Officer at With Company, and Design and Business Advisor at Tamim Teas.

Jo's diverse experience also includes positions such as Founder and CEO of Sustainable Urban, Design Director at Concrete Sensors, Entrepreneur In Residence at UMass Boston's Venture Development Center, and Co-Founder and Head of Design at Line Health.

With a background as a Senior Product Designer at CreativeMary, Product Designer at Gabinete de Projectos Eng. António Almeida, and Product Designer at Pedro Gomes Design, Jo Vieira has a wealth of experience in the design industry.
