Jing Wang: A Multi-talented Gaming Executive

Jing Wang is a seasoned gaming executive who has had an interdisciplinary career spanning product management, business operations, design, and brand management. Over the past 15 years, she has acquired years of experience working with some of the biggest players in the gaming industry, such as Riot and Nintendo.

Jing was a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Bot School Inc, which has since been acquired by Phoenix Labs. At Phoenix Labs, she spent a year on special projects, including leading in-game events and social feature design as the Product Lead for Dauntless, and leading CRM and merchandising as part of the publishing team.

In 2020, she shifted into her current role as General Manager of the Los Angeles studio at Phoenix Labs as the company underwent a multi-studio expansion. Her focus is now on building a strong team of developers and empowering them to make games that bring people together. She is also the Acting General Manager of Phoenix Labs’ San Mateo studio, where she worked with a number of the crew on Dauntless and is excited to help grow their new game.

Jing is an alumna of the University of Southern California where she studied Public Relations and Natural Sciences. She began her career at the Los Angeles Caregiver Resource Center before working her way up the ladder at several gaming companies.
