Jing Liang

Biotech Entrepreneur and Management Consultant

Jing Liang is the Co-Founder and CEO of Helicore Biopharma, Inc., which was formerly known as Helicore Bioventures I. Based in Barcelona, Spain, he has a background as a biotech entrepreneur and management consultant. Under his leadership, Helicore Biopharma is focused on developing next-generation therapeutics for obesity and has successfully raised $65 million from top venture capitalists to support its clinical-stage initiatives.1

Liang has an extensive career in the biotech sector, having previously founded Heliome Biotech and served as Interim CEO of Micelle BioPharma. He has also held board positions at SIDIS Corp and the Cancer Support Community, showcasing his commitment to both business and community service.2 3

His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Biochemistry from Penn State University and a PhD in Biophysics from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.2
