Jina Valentine is an accomplished artist, writer, and researcher with a rich educational background. She holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Art/Art Studies from Stanford University and also completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fine Art at Carnegie Mellon University. Jina has a strong academic presence, having served as both an Associate Professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an Assistant Professor of Art at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Her artistic endeavors extend beyond academia, as she is also a Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director of Black Lunch Table, showcasing her leadership and community involvement. Additionally, Jina has honed her skills and expertise through her roles as an artist, writer, and researcher on her personal website, jinavalentine.com, and her experience as an assistant director at the fleisher-ollman gallery.
