Jin Yan

Jin Yan is an Economics Ph.D. candidate with a strong focus on the US labor market. He possesses excellent skills in project management, research design, and data analysis in both business and academic environments. Known for being a collaborative team player with the ability to lead effectively in challenging situations and communicate clearly with diverse audiences.

Jin Yan is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Economics at The University of Texas at Austin. He holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University Graduate School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics modified with Mathematics, where he graduated Cum Laude from Dartmouth College. Additionally, Jin Yan has completed the Tuck Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth College and participated in a Language Study Abroad Program at Universitat de Barcelona as well as the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program at UWC-USA.

Throughout his academic journey, Jin Yan has been actively involved in various roles within prestigious institutions. He has served as a Graduate Researcher at The University of Texas at Austin and held positions as Graduate Teaching Assistant at both The University of Texas at Austin and Cornell University. Prior to his current academic pursuits, Jin Yan gained valuable experience as an Independent Contractor and Script Writer at ELEVATE Global, as well as positions as a Senior Research Analyst and Research Analyst at Fair Labor Association.
