James Elias

Jimmy Elias is a passionate entrepreneur known for co-founding First Press Coffee, a pioneering brand that revolutionized the RTD coffee market in Australia. Inspired by his travels through South America and the USA, where he explored coffee plantations and the health food industry, Jimmy identified an opportunity to introduce healthy black iced coffee. Through innovative cold extraction techniques, First Press Coffee has rapidly expanded to over 425 stockists in Australia and recently entered the Singapore market. Jimmy's role in the business involves driving sales growth, establishing strategic partnerships, and effectively communicating the brand's vision both locally and internationally. He emphasizes the importance of community engagement, transparency in sourcing practices, and promoting ethical specialty coffee that benefits both society and the environment. Jimmy holds a Bachelor's degree in both Psychology and Management/Marketing from Monash University and is trained as a Demartini Method Facilitator. Prior to his current venture, he gained valuable experience in various roles, including Consultant/Account Coordinator at District Agency Australia and Lifelounge Agency, Marketing Consultant at The Good Life Clinic, Group Leader at Rustic Pathways, and General Manager at Ripe the Organic Grocer.
