Jimmy Bierman

Jimmy Bierman, Dranesville District Supervisor

Jimmy Bierman is the current Dranesville District Supervisor for Fairfax County, Virginia, representing McLean, Great Falls, Herndon, and parts of Vienna and Falls Church.15 He was elected to this position in November 2023.3

Bierman is a native of McLean and has been an active community leader, shaping policy at the local, state, and national levels.14 He has a background in law, having worked as a litigator in private practice, a federal law clerk, and an attorney advisor at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.3

Bierman has also served on the Fairfax County Police Civilian Review Panel since 2019, providing oversight of the police department and strengthening the relationship between law enforcement and the community.13 He chaired the panel from March 2021 to February 2022.3

In addition to his professional experience, Bierman has been involved in local Democratic politics, serving on and chairing the Dranesville District Democratic Committee.4 He is committed to expanding opportunities for all residents, investing in green development, and promoting equal opportunity and public safety in the Dranesville District.2
