Jim's journey began with his studies in Economics at the Colorado School of Mines, where he developed a solid foundation in business. He furthered his education with an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business. Additionally, his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Colorado School of Mines equipped him with strong analytical and technical abilities.
Having joined Alegeus as an Executive Client Partner, Jim is thrilled to be part of an organization that is revolutionizing the healthcare and financial wealth industry. He strives to shape the relationships and engagement between consumers, employers, and brokers, ensuring that clients receive the best possible service and operational efficiency.
Prior to his current role, Jim held several key positions, including Senior Account Executive and Account Executive at Alegeus, as well as Vice President of Sales and Business Development and Operations Manager at 24HourFlex. These experiences allowed him to enhance his strategic and operational planning skills, effectively manage client relationships, and drive new business development initiatives.
Notably, Jim gained valuable insights during his time at Raytheon as a Senior Test Engineer. This experience underscored the importance of intelligent processes and solid software design, reaffirming his commitment to delivering excellence.
Drawing from his time as a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks Coffee Company, Jim recognizes the significance of legendary customer service and the invaluable skill of connecting people to help each other grow.
Jim's extensive skill set spans strategic and operational planning, client management, talent development, and profit and loss management. Additionally, he excels in technology strategy implementation, process improvement initiatives, employee benefit administration, and business development. Jim's expertise in healthcare technology, SaaS (Software as a Service), and operations management further strengthens his ability to drive success in any organization.
