Jim Zuegel

Jim Zuegel is the Director of Operations at Journey of Choice, Inc., a position he has held since March 2021. He has a robust background in engineering and operations management, with degrees in Biochemical Engineering (Master's) and Chemical Engineering (Bachelor's) from Cornell University.

Throughout his career, Zuegel has accumulated extensive experience in various leadership roles across the engineering and healthcare sectors. Prior to his current role, he served as the SPADA Program Manager at Stanford University School of Medicine and as VP of Manufacturing & Operations at Eyenovia Inc. His career also includes significant positions such as Chief Operating Officer at Avantek Eyewear and VP Operations at Shockwave Medical, among others. This diverse experience has equipped him with a strong skill set in operational excellence, strategic planning, and business development.12

Zuegel's entrepreneurial spirit is evident from his founding of Z1 Enterprises, Inc., where he served as President. His early career involved roles that laid a solid foundation in manufacturing processes and quality control, including positions at Gynecare, Inc., and Eastman Kodak.1
