Jim Shearer is the Marketing Director for Birds Eye in the UK and Ireland, a role he assumed on February 28, 2022. He succeeded Sarah Koppens and reports directly to Steve Challouma, the General Manager for Birds Eye UK & Ireland. In this position, Shearer is responsible for leading the marketing strategies for Birds Eye and its associated brands, including Goodfella’s and Aunt Bessie’s.123

His roles there included leading the Strategy, Insight and Innovation team for the EMEA and APAC regions, as well as serving as the Marketing Director for various brands such as Carling and Coors Light.134 His expertise in marketing has been recognized in the industry; he was featured in Campaign magazine's Power 100 list of top UK marketers three times from 2018 to 2020.12
