Jim Saber is a seasoned business leader with over 25 years of experience in business development, engineering management, and strategic planning. He has held executive positions in both entrepreneurial and Fortune 500 companies, as well as non-profits. Saber studied Electrical Engineering at Lawrence Technological University and has been an active member of several prominent organizations during his career.
Saber is the current President and CEO of NextEnergy, a nonprofit organization that focuses on accelerating energy innovation and technology commercialization. He previously served as the Vice President of Business and Technology Development at NextEnergy, where he oversaw the development of strategic partnerships with corporations, academic institutions, and government agencies.
Saber is also a former member of the Board of Directors at TechTown, a Detroit-based non-profit business incubator that provides resources and support to early-stage entrepreneurs. He has also worked as a Business Development executive at Millennium Cell, Inc., a company that specializes in advanced hydrogen fuel cell technology.
