Jim O'Brien

Jim O'Brien is an accomplished sales leader with a strong focus on optimizing organizations, fostering employee growth, and surpassing revenue objectives. His professional journey includes diverse experiences in IT security, storage, and semiconductor products, handled through various sales channel models.

Jim pursued his academic journey at California State University, Fresno, where he studied Varsity Baseball as a Pitcher and earned a BA in Business Marketing. Prior to this, he attended Saint Francis High School and actively participated in various activities and clubs.

Throughout his career, Jim has held key positions in renowned organizations. He was the Head of Sales for the Western U.S at Microchip Technology Inc. and previously served as the Sr. Director for Western US Sales and Apple WW at Atmel Corporation, which was later acquired by Microchip. His professional tenure also includes roles at Texas Instruments, Cisco Systems, PMC-Sierra, Blue Coat Systems, Xilinx, and Quantum, where he demonstrated expertise in sales management and leadership.
