Jim Miller

Jim Miller is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in business, law, healthcare, and social entrepreneurship. He is recognized for his roles as Partner at Steve's Ice Cream, co-Founder of Bertucci's and FiRE+iCE Restaurants, and co-Founder of Sight Resources and Nix86. Jim also served as Managing Partner at TwistDx, which was later acquired by Alere. His expertise spans various industries from food and hospitality to biotechnology and law.

Apart from his business ventures, Jim Miller has an extensive legal and investigative background. He has been the Director of the Massachusetts Environmental Crimes Strike Force and worked as an investigative television reporter for the Gannett Network. Additionally, Jim is a co-founder and trial lawyer of a public interest law firm based in Cambridge, MA.

Jim's educational journey includes a Doctor of Law (JD) from Boston University School of Law, studies at Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Middlebury College. He also completed a joint MPA/MPH program at the Kennedy School and Harvard School of Public Health, showcasing his commitment to continuous learning and growth.

With a passion for healthcare and social impact, Jim Miller has held significant positions such as Chief Investment Officer of a New York-based private foundation and Senior Advisor to USAID, focusing on developing small enterprises in Sub-Saharan West Africa. He has also contributed to the healthcare sector as an Executive in Residence at Partners Heathcare and Director of the Mass General Hospital Clinician Startup Accelerator.
