Jim Krause

Jim Krause is a Senior Lecturer at The Media School of Indiana University Bloomington, where he has been teaching since 1999.1 He holds an M.S. in Instructional Systems Technology from IU School of Education, a B.A. in Telecommunications from IU, and an A.S. in Audio Technology from IU School of Music.1
Krause teaches courses in multi-camera TV studio production, video field and post-production, graphics and animation, and cinematography.1 His additional areas of expertise include audio production, lighting, and motion graphics and compositing.1
With over 30 years of video production experience and two years as an audio engineer, Krause has worked on several award-winning documentaries.1 He is also the director of Tabletop Productions, a digital project studio serving corporate, broadcast, and educational clients.1
Krause's professional and research interests encompass Web development, documentary production, photography, HDTV technology, and music composition.1 He has released two CDs of guitar compositions: "Crossing the Inland Sea" and "Madeleine Bay".1
