He served as the President at Architectural Designers, Inc., Taylor Hewlett Architects, James L. Hewlett & Associates Architects, and The IntegraService Group, Inc. dba ISG Architects.

Jim also held the position of Vice President at Southwestern Dynamics, Inc. and as a Principal at Evergreen Architectural Group.

Having worked under his own name, Jim formerly owned and operated Hewlett Architects.
