Jim Herrington is a seasoned non-profit leader with over 35 years of experience, renowned for his transformative leadership skills.
He spearheaded the metamorphosis of a longstanding religious organization in Houston and served as the founding Executive Director of a citywide ministry promoting collaboration among congregations and non-profits in Houston for community impact.
An accomplished author, Jim has written three books focusing on non-profit leadership, systems thinking, emotional intelligence, and congregational transformation, widely used for training at universities and seminaries nationwide.
For over two decades, in partnership with Trisha Taylor, he has tested and refined theories of personal and organizational transformation in various projects in the US and Canada through their business, The Leader's Journey, offering coaching, leadership development, and organizational consulting services.
Jim Herrington holds a Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Direction from Houston Graduate School of Theology, a Masters in Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a BS in Psychology from the University of Arkansas.
