Jim Gunlock

Jim Gunlock is a seasoned executive search consultant with almost forty years of experience in providing C-level retained executive search solutions. He commenced his career at Korn Ferry International in Houston and also worked for A.T. Kearney, a global management consulting firm, and two regional boutique retained search firms in Denver. For nearly 15 years, he ran his executive search firm before relocating to the Pacific Northwest in 2006. He has a wide range of clients spread across the US, Canada, and Europe.

Jim's executive search assignments include identifying, assessing, and selecting CEOs and leadership talent in different spheres such as operations management, sales & marketing, funds development, finance, M&A, IT, cyber security, human resources, supply chain management, manufacturing, production, and engineering. His clients come from various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, logistics, transportation, financial services, construction, real estate, and academia. He has also worked on fundraising and development assignments for not-for-profits and NGOs, and executive coaching of senior-level executives.

Jim has a Master of Arts from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Cedarville University. He studied for his H.S. Diploma at Wheaton Academy after being a Military Police Officer in the US Army.

Aside from his executive search consulting experience, Jim spent time as an International Marketing Manager at FasTracKids International, representing the brand in Asia and Europe, particularly Malaysia, India, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, France, and Ireland. He traveled and collaborated directly with the Commercial Service Department of the International Trade Association in U.S. Embassies located in Dublin, Istanbul, Mumbai, Calcutta, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Jeddah, and Riyadh. Jim also represented the company at international trade expos in Paris, Kuala Lumpur, Istanbul, Washington DC, and Los Angeles.
