He started his professional life as a Bachelor of Architecture graduate from Lawrence Technological University and joined one of the oldest architectural firms in Detroit, Michigan. Jim got his first exposure to CAD/CAM at this firm, which laid the foundation for his successful career in the technology sector. He had sold over $80 million in enterprise software and professional service solutions and is adept at understanding the technical aspects of customers' requirements. His strengths lie in coaching and mentoring colleagues on sales principles and policies, managing pre-sales, and sales teams.

Jim is presently employed as a Senior Account Executive at OpenText, a software-driven company that supports the management and exchange of business information. Before joining OpenText, Jim has held various sales-related executive positions, including Regional Account Executive, Enterprise Account Executive, Regional Sales Manager, and District Sales Manager, at prominent software companies like Quark Software, PTC, Chrystal Software, Altris Software, and Cimage Corporation.

Aside from work, Jim enjoys playing golf, watching sports, and listening to smooth jazz. He loves spending time with his identical twin granddaughters and is an avid Duke Blue Devils Basketball fan. He enjoys collecting major championship golf balls, including Ryder Cup and President Cup balls.
