Jim Dillavou is a Retired Partner of Deloitte, where he had a successful career primarily in the M&A Transaction Services practice.
During his tenure, Jim provided guidance to companies and private equity buyers in the evaluation and structuring of acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures.
He currently holds positions on the Board of Directors for several national private companies engaged in the manufacturing of chemicals, plastics, and building materials.
Having a wealth of experience, he specializes in energy and resources, encompassing areas like oil & gas, power, alternative energy, petrochemicals, and related manufacturing and services, as well as wholesale distribution and retail.
Before his role in M&A transaction services, he served as an audit partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Jim pursued his education in Accounting, earning a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
