His educational background includes studies in Executive Protection, Protective Medical Response, Defensive & Evasive Driving, Protective Firearms, and more at institutions like LaSorsa & Associates, NRA, FEMA Emergency Management Institute, Ohio Peace Officer's Training Academy, and others.

Jim also received training in specialized fields such as ALICE Instructor, Armed Fugitive Recovery Officer, Special Response Team Tactics, and Use of Force Instruction.
