Jim Courtland, CFA

Jim Courtland, CFA is an accomplished and experienced investment professional with expertise in portfolio management, strategic planning, and transformation. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Economics from the University of Virginia and has also completed the PLD 17 Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School, demonstrating his willingness to continue learning and growing throughout his career.

Jim's impressive professional journey started off as a financial analyst in the public finance sector of Merrill Lynch. He then moved on to FFTW, where he began his tenure as a portfolio analyst in the Research Division and later became a Portfolio Manager in the Global Multi-Sector Division. He continued his career at BNP Paribas Asset Management, where he served different roles, including Director of Strategic Planning and Head of Transformation, North America.

In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Jim takes his social responsibility seriously and has volunteered as the Finance Committee Chair at Harboring Hearts. An Entrepreneur in Residence at Hangar and Advisor at Balloon Stories, his passion for entrepreneurialism is still very much alive.

Currently, Jim holds the Chief Executive Officer position at Outcome, where he oversees all aspects of the business. His diverse background, expertise, and commitment to serving others make him a valuable contributor to any organization.
