Jim Cooper

Jim Cooper, a renowned Technologist and Futurist, is making waves in the corporate world as he helps companies break free from legacy systems that constrain their employees from increasing shareholder wealth. With his extensive expertise in developing new technologies, processes and business models that impact the User Experience, Cooper has gained international recognition as an innovator.

Cooper is widely known for predicting disruptions in technology, economics, and government policies that corporations need to factor into their strategies to improve the user experience and create an environment where discovering new ideas to create value is more important than end-to-end management of devices. His remarkable contribution to the simplification of technology management, virtualization, and social networking services has earned him a reputation as a global pioneer.

Before becoming a mentor to technologists within the technical community, Cooper served in various capacities in Hewlett Packard Enterprise. He held the position of Chief Technologist Services where he was responsible for the $4 Billion Mobility and Workplace business. He was also the Strategist for Applied Innovation, Chief Architect for Workplace services, and Sr. Consultant with HP consulting.

Cooper is an alumnus of Ball State University, where he studied MBA Business Administration, and University of Louisville, where he studied BS Engineering. In his free time, he takes opportunities to speak at universities and meet the next generation of IT leaders.
