Jim Chen

Jim Chen is a mechanical engineer with a diverse background in mechanical design, manufacturing engineering, and quality engineering. He earned his BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Jim has worked in various positions including Sr. Engineering Manager - Supplier Quality at Harry's, Inc. and as an Associate Engineering Manager at Tesla. Before joining Tesla, Jim worked as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at BMW and participated in the company's Manufacturing Leadership Development Program.

With a professional history encompassing significant companies like Tesla, BMW, and GE Energy, Jim has accumulated outstanding experience in design and manufacturing. Through his previous roles, he achieved proficiency and knowledge in supplier quality, engineering management, and vehicle systems manufacturing.
