Jim Brooke is an accomplished journalist and businessman with extensive experience in the fields of journalism, communications, and finance. He studied Latin American Studies at Yale University and has a proficiency in the Russian language from an intensive summer program at Middlebury College.

His professional journey began as a correspondent at The New York Times, where he honed his reporting skills. Thereafter, he served as Correspondent/Bureau Chief, Russia/CIS at Bloomberg News, where he covered Russia's economic and political landscape. He also acted as the Russia Real Estate consultant at Jones Lang LaSalle.

Jim also worked at Voice of America, where he served as the Russia/former Soviet Union Correspondent. He provided insight on major events such as the isolation of Russia, and shared his knowledge on the country's politics and government.

Later, Jim became the CEO of Kyiv Post, the oldest English-language newspaper in Ukraine, where he promoted independent journalism and shared the stories of Ukrainian people. He also held the position of Editor-in-Chief at The Cambodia Daily, where he ensured that the newspaper's content was factual and balanced.

Additionally, Jim has served as the Managing Editor of The Khmer Times, where he ensured that the flow of information was swift and accurate. He is also a former Editor-in-Chief at Ukraine Business News, and BCP Securities' Representative.
