Jim Austin

James N. Austin, Jr., commonly known as Jim Austin, is the founder and broker of Austin Company Commercial Real Estate, which he established in 1981. The company is based in Fort Worth, Texas, and has been providing commercial real estate and property management services in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area for over 40 years.

Austin is a graduate of Howard University, where he earned a BA in Business in 1976. His professional contributions extend beyond real estate; he served as a Commissioner on the Texas Real Estate Commission for eight years. In recognition of his community service, he received the Good Neighbor Award from the National Association of Realtors® in 2003, an honor given to REALTORS® who demonstrate a significant commitment to improving their communities through volunteer work.123
