Jim Adams is a seasoned executive with almost 20 years of leadership experience in the renewable energy industry. He is currently the President of North American Operations at Natural Power Consultants, LLC, a global energy firm that specializes in wind, wave, hydro, solar, storage, tidal, and biomass energy. Before that, he was the Vice President of Business Development for AWS Truewind, where he led a team managing 18 of the top 20 clients, driving 80% of the company's overall revenue.

Adams has built a reputation for being a visionary when it comes to driving and executing global organizational growth. He has expertise in several areas, including organizational development, commercial operations leadership, international new business development, business strategy and execution, market entry strategy, client acquisition/engagement, due diligence, contact negotiation and deal structuring, asset management, energy yield assessment, capital planning and budgeting, project design and management, project finance and ROI, and regulatory compliance.

Subsequently, Jim has helped lead a $750K, NYSERDA-funded Sustainable Market Development of Wind Energy for the Academic & Agricultural Sectors initiative, and partnered with NYSERDA to develop the first NYSERDA-funded, end-user wind energy program. Adams studied MBA, Finance at the University of Albany and BS, Science/Technology/Economics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
