Jill Hetherington

Jill Schaeffer Hetherington is a seasoned business development executive with over 25 years of experience and a passion for helping others succeed. She studied Business Management, Economics, and Sociology at Bucknell University before earning an MBA with honors at Harvard Business School, where she received the Dean's Award for leadership on campus. Apart from her professional commitments, she is actively involved in volunteering for various community organizations and embracing diversity and inclusion. Jill is a founding employee of ABD Insurance and Financial Services, where she currently serves as Senior Vice President of Business Development. In this role, she connects clients with risk management, employee benefits, directors & officers insurance, private client insurance, and 401k services solutions. ABD's client list includes big names in the tech industry such as Twitter, SF 49ers, Okta, the Golden State Warriors, Slack, Spotify, Airbnb, Petsmart, and Arcus Bio, among others. Jill is a limited partner at How Women Invest and a former member of the advisory committee at Northwestern University, Weinberg College of Arts & Sciences, among other roles. She holds other previous leadership roles in various school boards, including the Co-President of the Crocker Parent Group Board at Crocker Middle School and the Board of Trustees at the Cathedral School for Boys and SLS Preschool. Jill has also worked in companies such as Kendall Wilkinson Design, LLC, JP Morgan Investment Management, Siebel Systems, and Pandesic.
