Jill Geary

Jill Geary is a legal professional with a strong background in Special Education and Family Law, aiming to assist parents in obtaining appropriate education for their children while preserving family relationships.

With her experience as an Administrative Law Judge from 1997 to 2003, Jill conducted hearings for the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, specializing in Special Education Due Process Hearings. She now works as a solo practitioner advocating for parents in navigating the complexities of special education to ensure their children receive the support they need.

In addition to her focus on Special Education, Jill has also dedicated seven years to practicing in Family Law. Her approach in both Special Education and Family Law is centered on prioritizing the best interests of the child while maintaining relationships and advocating for detailed legal orders to facilitate future interactions.

Jill Geary holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from Seattle University School of Law and completed her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) at the University of California, Berkeley.

Throughout her career, Jill has been actively involved in various organizations, serving as an Education Advocate at Self Employed, a former Seatrle School Board Director at Seattle Public Schools, a former candidate for School Board Director at Seattle Public Schools Board of Directors, and a former member of the Seattle Public Schools Special Education Advocacy and Advisory Council (SEAAC), among other roles.

Her professional journey includes positions at Wolf Bay Law, Jill L. Geary, Attorney, Stokes Lawrence, Washington State Office of Administrative Hearings, among other legal entities, showcasing a diverse legal background and extensive experience in administrative law and advocacy.
