Jill Clay

Jill Clay is a seasoned educator with a decade of teaching experience in America and abroad. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English and a Master of Arts (MA) in Education: Secondary English, both from Truman State University. Jill's educational philosophy is centered around fostering an atmosphere of learning by setting high expectations and aiding each student with personalized attention. She takes pride in finding creative ways to increase student engagement, whether by embracing technology, connecting content to self, community, or the world around.
Jill has worked in various capacities in the academic sector, including Substitute Teacher at Macon R-1 School District, Teacher at Applied Technology High School, and English Teacher at Kansas City Missouri School District. She was also affiliated with a private school, GLENELG School of Abu Dhabi - an Education Company inside ADNOC Oil and Gas Group. Here, she honed her skills in teaching students with a diverse background as the institution caters to both local and expatriate communities.
Most recently, Jill serves as the Operations Manager at KEARNEY ENRICHMENT COUNCIL. In her previous post as Academic Evaluator 1 at Park University, Jill assisted in development and coordination of the school's quality assurance systems that ensure academic programs’ consistent delivery and adherence to Park's mission and values.
