Jie Yu

Jie Yu is a user experience designer based in San Diego with a passion for conducting research to understand user needs and create beautiful designs for web and mobile applications. With a background in architecture and landscape architecture, Jie brings a unique perspective to designing for touch screen applications. Jie has a diverse portfolio working on projects ranging from application UI to e-commerce websites. Proficient in rapid prototyping, sketching, research, ideation, and user interface design, Jie utilizes tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite to bring designs to life. Jie holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the Central Academy Of Fine Arts and a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design. Previously, Jie has worked as a User Experience Designer at Walmart, Amazon, Kamua, Nabi Music, and Paws of L.A. Rescue, bringing a wealth of experience to each role. Additionally, Jie has held positions as Marketing Design Manager at Solar Camp Technologies Inc., User Experience Designer at Points 8, and Marketing Designer at Solar Camp Technologies Inc.
