Jie Lun Ong

Jie Lun Ong is an experienced venture capitalist and business development executive in the startup and technology space. He is currently the Ventures team leader for Plug and Play APAC, where he sources high-potential startups in the Southeast Asia region and facilitates partnerships with corporate partners. Jie Lun has extensive experience in managing accelerator programs, screening pre-seed stage startups, and providing mentorship opportunities.

Jie Lun received his mechanical engineering degree from the National University of Singapore and completed a minor in technopreneurship while studying at NUS Overseas Colleges. He also holds a diploma in Infocomm Sales and Marketing from LithanHall Academy and a minor in business from Fudan University.

Prior to his role at Plug and Play, Jie Lun held positions at SPH Plug and Play, 123JumpStart, and TABSQUARE PTE LTD. He has also worked as a trainee trader at Purvis Capital and a brokerage analyst at Standard Chartered Bank.

Jie Lun is passionate about high-growth innovations and startups and strives to identify and fund promising startups, assisting them towards their growth objectives.
