Jie Gong

Jie Gong is a Partner at Pantheon Ventures, a private equity firm, where she has been working since December 2013.3 She is also the Co-Lead Manager of Pantheon International Plc (PIP), a private equity investment trust.3 Prior to joining Pantheon, Gong held the position of Executive Director and Head of Asia at Morgan Stanley from March 2007 to December 2013.3 She also worked as a Vice President at JP Morgan from October 2005 to March 2007.3

Gong has extensive experience in the private equity sector, particularly in Asian investments. She was appointed as co-lead manager of Pantheon International investment trust (PIP) in June 2023, working alongside Helen Steers.1 However, it's worth noting that as of June 14, 2024, Gong left Pantheon International after just a year in the role, reportedly for personal reasons.2

In terms of her educational background, Jie Gong attended Shanghai International Studies University, London Business School, and the University of Miami.3 Her expertise in Asian markets and private equity has been valuable to Pantheon, where she has been involved in various ESG initiatives and sat on the firm's co-investment committee and Asian regional investment committee.1
