Education and Career
Professor Kim completed her undergraduate studies in physics at Ewha Womans University in South Korea, obtaining her BSc in 1992.1 She then earned her MSc in theoretical physics in 1994 before moving to the UK to pursue her doctoral studies.1 At the University of Cambridge, she joined Professor Richard Friend's research group and completed her PhD in 2000, focusing on polymer light-emitting diodes.1
