Jez Nelson is the CEO and founder of Somethn' Else, a London-based content company that specializes in building and growing engaged audiences. With over 30 years of experience in the media industry, Jez has successfully led Somethn' Else to become the UK's leading podcast producer and publisher. In addition to podcasting, Jez and his team work on a variety of projects, from producing TV series to delivering social media campaigns for major brands.

Jez Nelson's career began as a DJ on a pirate radio station he launched with lifelong friends Gilles Peterson and Chris Phillips. His talent and passion for radio eventually led him to become a radio journalist for various stations. He also worked as a TV presenter for the BBC, further expanding his media experience. Jez is a graduate of Kings College London where he studied Human Biology and Psychology, in addition to post-graduate Radio Journalism studies at Highbury College Portsmouth.

Throughout his career, Jez has remained focused on growing audiences and producing high-quality content. In 2020 he was awarded an MBE for his services to radio.
